Fallen Woman by Stephie Walls

A Bookworm Review by Ana

Fallen Woman

Contemporary Romance

I give this book 5 stars!

When a book has the ability to make me smile, cry and give me goosebumps I know it was a great reading and this book was something I can’t rank on this scale of 0 to 5, because for me this book is a 7.

Have a look at the blurb:

Gianna LeBron grew up in poverty. Destined to change her circumstances and her zip code, she rises up from the inner-city streets with an Ivy League education and affluent husband. A few short years later, she’s alone with three children, destitute and desperate.

Finding herself in the same hell she’d fought so hard to escape, and determined to find a solution, she compromises who she is. Selling her soul for the almighty dollar, she does what she has to do in order to provide for her children.

Caught between a secret love and her toddler’s unending need for medical care, Gianna’s forced to decide how far she’ll go to heal her daughter and save the man she loves.

For money.
For health.
For Jase.

#MyReview:

It’s no secret that I love this author and the fact that I have another book from her to read just made my day.
I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that I was going to get myself in an intense reading and I wasn’t wrong. And I’m glad I wasn’t.
As you all know, Stephie has and intense, heartfelt and beautiful writing that will melt your hearts, the way she managed to toy with my poor heart just with her words is beyond comprehension.
Falling Woman will lead you to the lifes of Gianna and her kids.
Let me just say that the Prologue is so intense that you can easily figure out what this story will bring.
She’s a widow with 3 kids that fights to keep food in the house. Her life was always hard, she was neglected by her parents and then, when she thought that life would take a turn for the best it didn’t and she was left alone with her kids struggling to survive. But there were times when money wasn’t an issue but things can change quickly.
I’m speechless, amazed, happy and sad at the same time. Speechless and amazed because this story unfolded in a way that could get me into tears or smiling at the same time. Happy because the plot, the ups and downs glued me to my Kindle. And I’m sad because it’s over. I want more, I want to keep reading about their lifes. And of course that every good book has hot scenes, and oh boy,  this book really had them.
Do you know that feeling of love and that little voice telling you that this was going to be a good reading? That feeling of joy?  Well that was me when I finished the first chapter. I don’t know if Stephie is thinking of writing more books regarding the other characters but if she does I’m on the front row to read them.
