Strike Fear (Hawk Elite Security Book 2) by Beth Rhodes

A Bookworm Review by Ana

Strike Fear

Military Romance

I give this book 5 stars!

Sweet lord, I always had a thing for security guys…

Have a look at the blurb:

Hawk Elite Security, a group of dedicated men and women.
Moved by duty and honor.
Dedicated to being courageous in the face of adversity.
Passionate about life.

~*~*~

Head of the personal safety division for Hawk Elite Security, Tan is serious about teaching his clients how to stay safe. But, with a file two inches thick confirming Elizabeth Whitney as a world champion athlete, he’s prepared to take on his newest assignment as the vacation he hasn’t had in over five years. A little instruction, a couple hockey games on the side, and he’ll be on his way to the next spoiled rich kid.

Elizabeth takes one look at Tancredo Byrnes and it doesn’t matter that she can perform a triple lutz-toe loop blindfolded; clumsy becomes her middle name. Though trusting people outside her family has never been her strong suit, she finds herself drawn to the easy-going man who is supposed to make her into a superwoman. But she’s been burned by those fickle feelings of attraction before and isn’t about to let them ruin her life again.

As their training intensifies, the threats to Elizabeth darken, and Tan realizes that what should have been a cake walk is a fight between life and death.

#MyReview:

And here I am again. Meeting new authors and their works. And I freaking love it. I’m one lucky girl.
So what crossed my mind when I saw this tittle was that I’ll find a book full of action, steamy guys and what else?? Well let’s say that I found…
Beth Rhodes is, like I said in the beginning,  a new author to me. She has an intricated writing with so much details that will make your reading effortless and smooth. For me I had some ups and downs because the language barrier was an issue but oh boy,  what a book…
Strike Fear is the second book from the Hawk Elite Security and tells the stories of Tan and Elizabeth.
Tan is the head of the personal safety division and is in charge of protecting a world champion  athlete. But the job he though it was going to be easy as walking in the park but sometimes things can change…
Elizabeth is an world champion athlete but her dream was cut to soon. She has serious problems in trusting outsiders but one look at Tan and she’s gone. Lol.
And what a journey this book was,  so full of mystery, suspense, crime, punishment, madness but also love,  loyalty and spicy scenes….
I loved every chapter and I think that this series will be a huge success.
The way this story is told will hook you to your kindles because you will want to find out what the heck is happening.
Do you know that feeling when all the puzzle pieces connect??  Well I had that feeling and I wasn’t wrong. The way all of it hit me left me overwhelmed.
And of course we have a few hot scenes to the mix…
And now I need to read the first book of this series because I want more and I can’t wait for the next one.
