Caveman: A Single Dad Next Door Romance by Jo Raven

A Bookworm Review by Ana

I give this book 5 stars!

Life can tear you apart, can kill you softly but you can’t give up. There is always a second chance waiting for you, even if you don’t want to belive in it.

Matt Hansen.
Hot single daddy.
Arrogant. Rude. Older.
My boss.
Totally off limits… right?

Matthew Hansen is the kind of handsome that has grown women whispering behind their hands and giggling like schoolgirls.
Dark, tall and mysterious, he’s a newcomer to our little town. He’s a gritty, grease-covered mechanic, and a single daddy.
Sweet, right?
Plus, he’s looking for a nanny – and I am desperately looking for a job.
Sounds like the perfect deal.
Only he’s a jerk. An uncivilized, hulking brute. Zero manners. Zero interest in making me feel welcome in his home. Downright rude.
But oh, so s*xy.
And I need the job. I can do this.
One thing is for sure: I can’t fall for the Caveman. No matter how s*xy he is. How mysterious. How tortured.
That’s the only rule – and one I’m about to break.

***This is a standalone, full-length romance novel with a HEA and no cliffhanger or cheating. For a limited time, I have included ZANE and MICAH, both standalone novels, as bonus. ***

This author his amazing and I thank every day for the chance to get to know her work. Every book that I’ve read from her were intense, beautiful and breathtaking.
Jo Raven has a simple yet intense writing that will hook you up from the first chapter.
If you don’t know her I only have one advise: Go grab her books and get ready for the journey.
Caveman tells the stories of Matt and Tati.
Matt is a grumpy and a revolted man due to the events that had changed is life forever. He’s a proud father but he feels incomplete. The only way he found how to deal with this sense of loss was becoming a reserved man focussed only on his work and his kids.
Tati is a sweet girl focused in gaining enough money to be able to go to college and to help her family.
She accepted the job of taking care of Matt’s kids but she starts to doubt she can be successful mainly because Matt is a tottal jerk.
What will happen between  these two? Can Matt forget and move on?  Can Tati fulfill her dreams? Well if you want to find out grab yourself a copy and start reading asap. I can promise you that you will not regret any second of this reading. Just saying…
One thing that crossed my mind when I started reading this book was why this tittle? Why Caveman? What does that mean? I only needed to read a few chapters to fully understand why. Just go with the flow and you’ll find out it too.
This book is the total package  because you will find love, friendship, desire as well as hate, madness, craziness.
The story unfolded in a way that left me sad, happy, mad and so hot. Some chapters are so intense that I couldn’t breath properly.
If you already know Jo’s writting you know that she put her heart behind each word. She can get under your skin in a sec and she can make you laugh and cry at the same time with a flip of a page. And you already know that the hot scenes that she creates will leave you breathless and hot as hell. If you don’t know her writing consider yourself warned.
Now what Jo? How can I overcome this amazing book and start reading? Dayum girl…
