Christmas with the Single Dad

Contamporary Romance

I give this book 5 stars!

What’s the difference between a lie by omision and a lie by deceive?

Have a look at the blurb:

Will a Christmas love built on lies melt away just as surely as the snow?

Welcome to Seattle, the Emerald City and home to The Single Dads of Seattle. Ten sexy single fathers who play poker every Saturday night, have each other’s backs, love their children without quarter, and hope to one day find love again.
This is Zak’s story …

Single Dad of Seattle, Zak Eastwood plans to spend Christmas with fellow lonely hearts. His kids are supposed to be at an amusement park with their mom. However, fate has other plans. When a woman from his club finds herself stranded in the snow, he takes her to safety.

Drowning in student loan debt and her father’s medical bills, first-year law associate Aurora Stratford allows herself but one splurge–a pricey membership to Club Z Fitness to watch the gorgeous Zak flex his muscles. Though out of her league, fantasizing about his blue eyes and tattoos is the only thing that keeps her sane these days, especially since her Christmas will be spent alone with her dead cactus and money woes.

When the snowstorm of the century moves in and the hero of her dreams offers her a ride and a place to stay, Aurora’s Christmas begins to look up. However, Aurora is ashamed of her current financial state–she’s nobody’s charity chase–and her lies of self-preservation begin to take on a life of their own.

Can Aurora spend Christmas with the single dad and win over everyone? Or will her deceit get in the way of not only their happy holiday but her happily ever after?

**Note: This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, cursing, and of course as with all my books, this has an HEA and no cliffhanger or cheating. If you like single dads who take charge, this book is for you.

There are books that can catch my attention just by reading good the blurb, and this book is one of them.
And if it’s a book from a series that I really like, it the cherry on top of the best cake in the world.
Whitley Cox has created this perfect series that will hook you up in a sec. But don’t think you’ll be reading so mild story, sweet and sweet. Oh no… You’ll find an amazing story, with some angst, done drama and tears into the mix but in the end… Oh boy… In the end, it can change.
Her writing is sweet, intense and with some hot stuff into the mix. Just get ready to grab this series and be amazed.
Christmas With The Single Dad is her latest release and it’s the fifth book from the Single Dads of Seattle.
I need to tell you something. Even though all books are standalone, I advise you to read them all in order. By doing so, you’ll get the chance to know every character and love their stories. Just go for it.
This new book explores the lives of Zak and Aurora.
Zak’s goal is to raise his kids the best he can. He’s divorced and it hurts every single time he has to let his kids go to their mothers’ house.
He owns several Fitness Center’s and uses them as well so he’s used to grabbing every women’s attention, but he doesn’t want to chain himself again…
Holidays are coming and he planes to spend those days partying but when one stranger asks for help…
Aurora is struggling to live her life. She has so many bills to pay, her student loan and her fathers’ medical bills that she struggles to make ends meet.  She doesn’t have too much money to spend but she has to live so she attends Club Z Fitness. Her eyes are caught in one particular man…the owner and one day…
Sweet, perfect, beautiful… All adjectives that describe this book perfectly.
Fantastic plot, very well written, super engaging and sweet. It was a joy to read it.
These two were deeply hurt, you could see it behind each scene and it was stunning to witness their fights.
They shared great chemistry and his kids are fabulous.
Love, family bonds, true friendship, desire are very present in this book as well as lies deceive, betrayal and drama.
How can you trust when you hide something? Or better yet, how can you love someone truly when you can’t live yourself completely?
In life, nothing is granted but in love, everything goes. Trust yourself, trust your heart and the path will be revealed to you.
It was great to have news from the other characters from these series and I can’t wait for the next one
Whitley, will we have to wait long? I want more… Asap. Pretty please?
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

About the Author:

A West Coast baby born and raised, Whitley is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have two beautiful daughters and a fluffy dog. Whitley spends her days making food that gets thrown on the floor, vacuuming Cheerios out from under the couch and making sure that the dog food doesn’t end up in the air conditioner. But when nap time comes and it’s not quite wine o’clock, Whitley sits down, avoids the pile of laundry on the couch, and writes.

A lover of all things decadent; wine, cheese, chocolate and spicy erotic romance, Whitley brings the humorous side of sex, the ridiculous side of relationships and the suspense of everyday life into her stories. With mommy wars, body issues, threesomes, bondage and role playing, these books have everything we need to satisfy the curious kink in all of us.
