Desperate to Touch (Hard to Love Book 2) by Willow Winters

A Bookworm Review by Ana

Desperate to Touch

Romantic Suspense

I give this book 5 stars!

Don’t turn your back to your heart…Just don’t…

Have a look at the blurb:

From USA Today bestselling author Willow Winters comes a heart-wrenching, edge-of-your-seat gripping, romantic suspense.

I ran from him, even though my heart knew better.
Love was one thing, but survival another.

He chose a life of crime. I never wanted any of it; I only wanted him. I left when the danger bled into my life, taking more than I was willing to sacrifice.
I should have known he’d come for me. Men like him always get what they want.
The temptation in his eyes, the heat of his touch . . . it’s all still there, but his gaze is harsher now and his grasp unrelenting.
He’s not the boy I fell in love with, although pieces of what we once had are still there. I can feel it.
I know what he wants from me, and I know it comes with a steep price. I’ll pay it though, if for no other reason than to touch him again. Just once more.
I’ll close my eyes and forget about the risks that come with this life and with him. I only hope he doesn’t do the same.

Desperate to Touch is book 2 in a series. Hard to Love must be read first.

I’m not even sure how to start this review. I mean, I love this author but I was so mad… In a good way of course. The way she ended the last book made me see red. I wanted to keep reading but no… I had to wait and then this book arrived.
Willow Winters is freaking amazing. Her books are to die for and this new series… Oh boy… This new series is awesome.
But I need to tell you something. This new book is not a standalone therefore you must read Hard To Love first.
This new book keeps exploring the lives of Laura and Seth.
Has you know, Seth is a powerful man. He had it all until the woman he loved runed away from him. Now she has crossed his path again and…
Laura got away, even though she loves Seth but what happened made her runaway. Now he’s back in her life and…
And… I’m mad… Once again this lady left me like this… Why? Why?
Seriously Willow?? You’re trying to make me even crazier than I already am right?
Superb plot, very well written, super engaging and dark. Reach scene was meticulously written in a way that will make you feel whatever is happening… Jesus… It’s one hit after the other.
The web of betrayal and crime is so thick, that it left me shaking with rage.
Once I started to read this book I simply couldn’t put it down. The need to know more was so intense that made me keep reading and reading.
Jeez… The goosebumps… The shakes… The madness…
Let’s talk about two super stubborn characters… Dayum. Why can’t they see and accept what’s happening?
It was the continuation of an amazing story and I can’t wait for the final book.
Willow, please don’t take to long… I need to know how this ended.
I have so many questions that need answers…
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

About the Author:

Willow Winters is so happy to be a USA Today, Wall Street Journal and #1 Contemporary Bestselling Romance Author. She likes her action hot and her bad boys hotter. She certainly doesn’t hold back on either one in her writing!
Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.

In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!
